Jury awards Apple $119.6 million, Samsung $158,400

$120 million is a lot of money to most of us, but it's a lot less than the $2 billion Apple was seeking.  Coverage here in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal.

Update:  I'm seeing reports on Twitter that the jury awarded $0 for the Galaxy S II's infringement of the '172 Patent, and that Judge Koh has sent them back for another 30 minutes of deliberation.

Further updates:  Consensus so far seems to be that this is mostly a victory for Samsung.  Kudos to professor Brian Love, quoted in both the NYT and WSJ articles.

Hearing now that the jury will return to deliberate on that one remaining issue on Monday.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the WSJ article, you'll see the following under "Corrections & Amplications":   "The jury awarded Apple $119.6 million in damages. A previous version of the article incorrectly said the jury awarded Apple $119.6 in damages."  Now that really would have been a victory for Samsung!
